Hello, I’m Saul Gutierrez, born in Los Angeles, but raised in Galt Ca. I am currently living in Sacramento, Ca. 

I’m a multidisciplinary artist first, with a passion for the art of many forms. Although I’m not an expert in all fields, I do love to work with a small hand full of mediums, such as:

  • Graphite

  • Acrylic

  • Watercolor

  • Color Pencil

  • Digital Art

  • Markers

  • and soon with Oil

Before the tattooing, I worked as a designer with CADD ( Computer-aided Drafting & Design). I worked in Civil Engineer firms, Home Custom Design firms, and Flooring firms, using CADD for home and commercial businesses. I loved my job as a CAD Designer, I decided to quit that industry and move to Los Angeles to attend Art school in 2006. 

In 2010 I was gifted a tattoo kit by my cousin, who told me I should utilize my artwork and apply it to the art of tattooing. After my first attempt, I fell in love with this new medium and the beginning of my tattooing journey began.

What started as a hobby quickly transitioned into a passion. A self-taught tattoo artist, now with over ten years of tattooing experience, I passionately specialize in custom tattoo designs with the styles of:

  • Watercolor

  • Black and Gray Realism

  • Sketch Art Tattoos.

I am blessed to have worked with a handful of talented artists throughout the years. Without them and the continued support of family, friends, and clients, I would not be the tattoo artist I am today. 

For the past five years, White Buffalo Gallery has been my second home.
